All harp models can be built around a light-weight carbon fibre core. Reducing the harp's weight by around 1.8Kg.

Combined with the use of other light-weight components such as the titanium tuning pegs, a significant weight saving can be acheived. For example, a Norris Standard 34 harp built with a conventional wooden frame will weigh around 10Kg but the same harp with a carbon fibre core can be reduced to around 7.9Kg.
